Dress the bird accepts the following payment methods: Dankort, Visa card, Mastercard, Maestro card, and MobilePay. When you enter your card details on the website, they are sent directly via an encrypted connection to the payment gateway QuickPay. At QuickPay, the amount and card details are approved by Nets/Teller

Dress the bird does not have access to view your card details at any time. An amount equivalent to the value of your purchase in the webshop will be reserved. Once the items are dispatched from our warehouse, the amount will be charged to your payment card.

Order Confirmation and Invoice

Upon completing your order, you will receive an order confirmation/receipt via email. When the order is packed and on its way to be delivered, you will receive an email with a track & trace number to track your package. If you have chosen delivery to a parcel shop, you will receive an email and an SMS when your package is ready for pickup.

Contact us immediately if you do not receive an order confirmation, as it may indicate an error in the entered email.


We aim to dispatch your package no later than the day after you place your order*.

For Danish destinations, the package is usually delivered the day after it is dispatched. For destinations in the EU, it takes 2-7 business days. Orders placed on weekends and holidays will be dispatched the following business day. Delivery is carried out by GLS, and all items are shipped from our own warehouse.

If the ordered item is unexpectedly out of stock, we reserve the right to cancel the transaction.

* During holiday periods, it may take up to 7 business days before the package is dispatched. In that case, the delivery time will be clearly indicated in the website's top banner.

Shipping Prices

For destinations in Denmark (excluding Greenland and the Faroe Islands):

  • When you spend over 499 DKK, shipping costs 0 DKK if the item is delivered to a GLS parcel shop or your workplace, and 39 DKK if the item is to be delivered to your home.

  • If you spend less than 499 DKK, it costs 29 DKK for delivery to a GLS parcel shop or your workplace, and 39 DKK for home delivery.

For destinations outside Denmark:

We deliver to all EU countries. The delivery price depends on the destination country and will be calculated at checkout. The package will be delivered to either a parcel box or home address, although it may not always be possible to choose this yourself.

Dressthebird.dk uses a payment solution from QuickPay. All payment data is encrypted and sent via SSL to QuickPay. This means that only QuickPay can read your payment data. 

All payments are secured with 3D Secure, which is a security protocol developed to protect cardholders online through additional security checks during payment transactions. 

Dressthebird.dk complies with PBS/NETS' guidelines for online trading, ensuring that as a consumer, you are at least as well protected as when paying with your payment card in a physical store. All other information in the communication between you and Dressthebird.dk is not encrypted.

Dress the bird provides a 2-year warranty in accordance with the Sale of Goods Act. Our warranty covers material and/or manufacturing defects. The warranty does not cover faults or damage caused by incorrect operation of the product. If the warranty claim is valid, Dress the bird covers return costs to a reasonable extent.

Right of Withdrawal
If you wish to cancel your purchase, you can exercise your right of withdrawal within 14 days of receipt. You can do this by creating a return via our return portal. Afterwards, you have an additional 14 days to return your package. If you do not wish to use the return portal, you can send an email to kontakt@dressthebird.dk regarding the cancellation of your purchase.
If you have tried the item as you would in a physical store, the 14-day right of withdrawal naturally applies as well. If the item shows visible signs of further use or if the original price tags have been removed, we will make a specific assessment of the item's resale value to third parties. Any depreciation will be deducted from your credit. 
You are responsible for the direct costs associated with returning the item. Remember that you are responsible for the package until we receive it.

If you live in Denmark, you can choose to use our parcel label. The label is prepaid, but we deduct 39 DKK from the amount you will be refunded. You can get a parcel label here:

If you fail to receive your item and it is returned to us, we will deduct the return costs from the amount you are to be refunded. For items from Denmark, the amount is 39 DKK. For international shipments, it is the applicable price from GLS.

Remember to include a note with your name or order number so we can locate your order. Please note that return packages from Norway may be subject to an administrative fee of 160 DKK when checked by customs. If we are charged this fee, it will be deducted from your refund. 

Note: We do not accept packages sent cash on delivery or to parcel lockers!

When returning, you are responsible for ensuring that the item is securely packaged. You bear the risk for the item from the time of delivery until it is returned to us. Therefore, we recommend sending the package as a traceable package. Remember to get a receipt for delivery, as we will not be able to assist if the package goes missing.

You are also welcome to return items to our showroom in Aarhus.

Once we have received your item, we will refund the amount for the item and the original shipping costs if the entire order is returned. Please note that we only refund an amount equivalent to the cheapest shipping method. The money will be transferred to the card used for the purchase. If desired, the money can also be transferred to a gift card. We usually transfer the money on the same day we receive the return package. However, during holiday periods, it may take a little longer.

Personal Data

When you place an order on Dressthebird.dk, we need your information such as name, address, phone number, and email address to deliver the order to you and to provide you with ongoing updates on your order status. All information that Dressthebird.dk collects to process your order is treated confidentially and in accordance with the Personal Data Act. The information is not sold, disclosed, or otherwise transferred to third parties. According to the Personal Data Processing Act, you have the right to access and request changes or deletion of your personal information. 

Dressthebird.dk is hosted on American servers. According to new EU legislation, we must therefore inform you that your address information is sent to the USA when you shop on Dressthebird.dk.

Errors and Sold-Out Items

Errors, price increases, and sold-out items are reserved. 


If you experience problems with a purchase on Dressthebird.dk and we cannot reach an agreement on a solution, as of January 9, 2016, it has been possible to use a new website for online dispute resolution if you reside in the EU. Find the website here: online dispute resolution
