Dress the bird accepts the following payment methods: Dankort, Visakort, Mastercard, Maestrocard and MobilePay. When you enter your card details on the website, they are sent directly via an encrypted connection to the payment gateway QuickPay. With QuickPay, amounts and card details are approved at Nets/Teller.
Dress the bird does not have access to see your card information at any time. An amount corresponding to the value of your purchase in the webshop will be reserved. When the goods have been dispatched from our warehouse, the amount will be withdrawn from your payment card.Order confirmation and invoice
Upon completion of the order, you will receive an order confirmation/receipt by e-mail. When the order is packed and it is on its way to be delivered, you will receive an email with a track & trace number so you can follow your package. If you have ordered delivery to the parcel shop, you will receive an email and an SMS when your package is ready for collection.
Contact us immediately if you do not receive an order confirmation, as this may mean that there is an error in the e-mail entered.Delivery
We endeavor to send your package no later than the day after you have placed your order*.
For Danish destinations, the package is usually delivered the day after it has been dispatched. To destinations in the EU, it takes 2-7 business days. Orders placed at the weekend and on public holidays will be dispatched the following working day. Delivery takes place with GLS and all goods are sent from our own warehouse.
If, contrary to expectations, the ordered product is not in stock, we reserve the right to cancel the transaction.
* During holiday periods, it can take up to 7 working days before the package is dispatched. In that case, clear attention will be drawn to the delivery time in the top banner of the website.Shipping rates
To destinations in Denmark (Greenland and the Faroe Islands excepted):
When you buy for over DKK 499, the shipping costs DKK 0 if the item is delivered to a GLS parcel shop or to your workplace, and DKK 39 if the item is to be delivered to your home.
If you buy for less than DKK 499, it costs DKK 29 if the item is delivered to a GLS parcel shop or your workplace and DKK 39 if the item is to be delivered to your home.
For destinations outside Denmark:
We deliver to all countries in the EU. The delivery price depends on the recipient country and is calculated when you check out. The package is delivered to either a parcel box or home address - however, it is not always possible to choose this yourself.
Dressthebird.dk uses a payment solution from QuickPay. All data relating to your payment is encrypted and sent via SSL to QuickPay. This means that it is only QuickPay, who can read your payment data.
All payments are secured with 3D secure which is a security protocol designed to protect cardholders online through additional security checks in connection with payment transactions.
Dressthebird.dk complies with PBS/NETS' guidelines for internet shopping, which means that you as a consumer are at least as well off as when you pay with your payment card in a physical store. All other information in the communication between you and Dressthebird.dk will not be encrypted.
Right of complaint
Dress the bird provides a 2-year right of complaint in accordance with the Purchase Act. Our right of complaint applies to defects in material and/or manufacturing. The complaint does not apply to errors or damage caused by incorrect operation of the product. If the complaint is justified, Dress the bird covers return costs to a reasonable extent.

You must pay the direct costs in connection with returning the item yourself. Remember that you are responsible for the package until we have received it.
If you live in Denmark, you can choose to use our package label. The label is prepaid, but we deduct DKK 39 from the amount you must have refunded. If you wish to exchange for another item, we will pay the return shipping. You can pick up a package label here:
If you fail to receive your item and it is sent back to us, we will deduct the return costs from the amount you need to return. For goods from Denmark, the amount is DKK 39. For foreign shipments, it is the applicable price from GLS.

Remember to enclose a note with your name or order number so that we can find your order. Please note that return packages from Norway may be subject to an administration fee of DKK 160 when they are checked at customs. If we are charged this fee, it will be deducted from your return amount.
When returning, you are responsible for ensuring that the item is properly packed. You bear the risk for the goods from the time the goods are delivered until they are returned to us. So we recommend that you send the package as parcel post and get a receipt for handing in the return package.
You are also welcome to hand in returned goods to us showroom in Aarhus.
Once we have received your item, we will refund the amount of the item as well as the original shipping costs. Please note that we only refund an amount corresponding to the cheapest shipping method. The money is transferred to the card used to make the purchase. If desired, the money can also be transferred to a gift card. We usually transfer the money on the same day we receive the return package. However, during holiday periods it may take a little longer.
When you place an order on Dressthebird.dk, we need your information in the form of name, address, telephone number and e-mail address so that the order can be delivered to you and to be able to give you an ongoing status of your order. All information that Dressthebird.dk registers in order to process your order is treated confidentially and in accordance with the Personal Data Act. The information will not be sold, disclosed or otherwise transferred to third parties. According to the Act on the processing of personal data, you have the right to access and request to change or delete your personal data.
Dressthebird.dk is hosted on American servers. According to new EU legislation, we must therefore point out that your address information is sent to the USA when you shop at Dressthebird.dk.Typo and out of stock items
