Payment
Dress the bird accepts the following payment methods: Dankort, Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, and MobilePay. When you enter your card details on the website, they are sent directly via an encrypted connection to the QuickPay payment gateway. At QuickPay, the amount and card details are approved by Nets/Teller.
Dress the bird does not at any point have access to your card details. An amount corresponding to the value of your purchase in the webshop will be reserved. When the goods have been dispatched from our warehouse, the amount will be charged to your payment card.
Order Confirmation and Invoice
When your order is complete, you will receive an order confirmation/receipt by email. When the order is packed and on its way to delivery, you will receive an email with a track & trace number so you can follow your parcel. If you have chosen delivery to a parcel shop, you will receive an email and an SMS when your parcel is ready for collection.
Contact us right away if you do not receive an order confirmation, as it may mean there is an error in the email address entered.
Delivery
We strive to dispatch your parcel no later than the day after you place your order*.
For Danish destinations, the parcel is usually delivered the day after it is dispatched. For destinations in the EU, delivery takes 2–7 business days. Orders placed at the weekend and on public holidays will be dispatched the following business day. Delivery is by GLS and all goods are shipped from our own warehouse.
If the ordered item is unexpectedly not in stock, we reserve the right to cancel the purchase.
* During holiday periods, it may take up to 7 business days before the parcel is dispatched. In that case, the delivery time will be clearly indicated in the website’s top banner.
Shipping Prices
For destinations in Denmark (excluding Greenland and the Faroe Islands):

When you spend over 799 DKK, shipping costs 0 DKK if the item is delivered to a GLS parcel shop or to your workplace, and 59 DKK if the item is to be delivered to your home.

If you spend less than 799 DKK, it costs 39 DKK if the item is delivered to a GLS parcel shop or your workplace, and 59 DKK if the item is to be delivered to your home.
For destinations outside Denmark:
We deliver to all EU countries. The delivery price depends on the destination country and is calculated at checkout. The parcel will be delivered either to a parcel locker or to a home address—but it is not always possible to choose this yourself.
Security
Dressthebird.dk uses a payment solution from QuickPay. All data related to your payment is encrypted and sent via SSL to QuickPay. This means that only QuickPay, can read your payment data.
All payments are secured with 3D Secure, which is a security protocol developed to protect cardholders online through additional security checks during payment transactions.
Dressthebird.dk complies with PBS/NETS guidelines for online trading, which means that as a consumer you are at least as well protected as when you pay with your payment card in a physical store. All other information in the communication between you and Dressthebird.dk is not encrypted.
Warranty Claims
Dress the bird provides a 2-year warranty in accordance with the Sale of Goods Act. Our warranty covers defects in materials and/or workmanship. The warranty does not cover faults or damage caused by incorrect handling of the product. If the claim is justified, Dress the bird will cover return shipping costs to a reasonable extent.

Note: We do not accept parcels sent cash on delivery!
Returns
You must pay the direct costs associated with returning the item. Remember that you are responsible for the parcel until we have received it.
If you live in Denmark, you can choose to use our shipping label. The label is prepaid, but we deduct 49 DKK from the amount to be refunded to you. You can download a shipping label here:
If you fail to receive your item and it is returned to us, we will deduct the return costs from the amount to be refunded to you. For items from Denmark, the amount is 49 DKK. For international shipments, it is the applicable price from GLS/DHL.

Remember to enclose a note with your name or order number so we can find your order. Please note that return parcels from Norway may be subject to an administration fee of 160 DKK when they are checked by customs. If we are charged this fee, it will be deducted from your refund.
When returning, you are responsible for ensuring that the item is properly packaged. You bear the risk for the item from the time of delivery until it has come back to us. Therefore, we recommend that you send the parcel as a trackable shipment. Remember to obtain a receipt for drop-off, as otherwise we will not be able to help if the parcel is lost.
You are also welcome to drop off returns at our showroom in Aarhus.
Once we have received your item, we will refund the amount for the item and the original shipping costs if the entire order is returned. Please note that we only refund shipping costs equivalent to the cheapest shipping method. The money will be transferred to the card used to make the purchase. If desired, the money can also be transferred to a gift card. We usually transfer the money the same day we receive the return package. However, during holiday periods it may take a little longer.
When you place an order on Dressthebird.dk, we need your information in the form of name, address, phone number, and email address so the order can be delivered to you and so we can continually provide you with the status of your order. All information that Dressthebird.dk records in order to process your order is treated confidentially and in accordance with the Data Protection Act. The information is not sold, disclosed, or otherwise transferred to third parties. Under the Act on Processing of Personal Data, you have the right to access and request to change or delete your personal data.
Dressthebird.dk is hosted on American servers. According to new EU legislation, we must therefore point out that your address information is sent to the USA when you shop on Dressthebird.dk.
Misprints and Sold-Out Items
We reserve the right for typographical errors, price increases, and items being sold out.
Complaints
If you experience issues in connection with purchases on Dressthebird.dk and we cannot come to an agreement on a solution, it has been possible since 9 January 2016 to use a new website for online dispute resolution if you reside in the EU. Find the website here: online dispute resolution
