"The seamstress of Bloomsbury" was the nick name for Lillan Wells, who started sewing in 1939, when she was just 14 years old. It is Lillan's original sewing patterns from the 1940's that forms the basis for the pretty dresses, skirts and shirts that "The seamstress of Bloomsbury" designs today.
